What is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®)?

All Chartered Advisors in Philanthropy are Professional Philanthropic Advisors who understand Social Secharity (Section 664) planning. Some work for the public and some work for charities. All CAPs have a post graduate certification and can provide financial counsel and financial services using tools of philanthropic planning. The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation is granted by the nonprofit, American College of Financial Services.

 

The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation, offered by The American College of Financial Services, is a three course masters-level designation for both financial advisors and nonprofit gift planners.
